The Dr. Is certainly getting the media coverage and image under control. A few clubs could learn from presentation of the club, games, brand, image etc.

Like anything from any media / press organisation anywhere.... you only see/hear what they want you to. I'm sure it'd be the same if an away team had a dubious try chalked off at BV and it was us doing the video footage.

Nobody have footage of the Rangi incident? Genuinely interested to see a close up after all the bickering over it being intentional or not.

Lauitiiti's try you still can't tell from that angle, you can see Mullaney wraps his arm around the ball but bodies are in the way of seeing if it touches down.

As well as that, I'm still not convinced his try that was given actually touched down, looked held up from where I was yesterday and the footage angle is worse than the view I had anyway.

Would be definitely be nice to have more coverage of the matches, hopefully this will be coming sometime this season for us.

Kirmond seemed very upset at what he sees as a double movement, the video doesn't show as too the Ali's disallowed try. would love to see the rangi trip as its what I would expect from him and doubly to see him limp off

Only thing I think you may be referring to with double movement is the Hansen try, but he doesn't move when he's down, simply reaches his arms out which is perfectly fine AFAIK?

The pass leading to the Hansen try looked a touch forward to me; Kirmo does appeal for a double movement, but it was a half-hearted appeal - the try itself looked fine.

As for the Ali incident - if Mullaney stopped Big Ali one on one, I'll eat my hat!

on ali lauitiiti`s try i was sat low down virtually on the ten metre line in the east stand , it looked a def try and the touch judge mouthed try to child`s straight away

It's amazing that Ali scored his try with 3 defenders on him and yet was deemed not to have grounded the ball 1 on 1.
People always say to look at the players reaction and I think that Ali knows that he scored (but it wasn't given)

I thought it was Tim Smith that held him up....I'd better look at that again.

Kirmond was just generally moaning all game at absolutely everything.

I don't know if Smith managed much, he was late in the tackle - Mullaney wrapped his arm around the ball as soon as he got there though. I'm not saying it was held up or not, it's just hard to see from what little evidence we have IMO.

They both look like tough calls to me, but the amount of defenders is irrelevant really, it only takes one arm, leg or whatever under a ball to stop it being grounded.

No way Lauititi grounded the ball Mullaney was smothering it from the moment Lauititi ran into him.

That would be a first then; Kevin Sinfield he is not. Are you sure wasn't just talking to the ref, as is his right as the captain?

I think I get it now - you're one of *those* kinds of fans aren't you?

Lauitiiti as many rugby league fans know is a superb carrier of the ball and he has the strength and skills to switch ball carrying hands 1 on 1 I dont think any player could prevent him getting it down.

And yet he managed to ground the ball with 3 players in attendance


As Richard Agar said, he has never known Ali not score when its 1 on 1, plus Ali told Agar after the game that he had grounded the ball.

He's not going to admit that he didnt ground it though is he?
Anyway why do you keep going over it again and again you lossed the game simple as that, let it go.
