I think it is important to let you all know that not only is my lad working on the checkout and trolleys at Sainsburys Trinity Walk but that he also saw a Mr Tomas Bosc perusing the vegetable section yesterday morning. I reckon he is for us or maybe he was just looking for some parsnips.

The thing I do like about this rumour is that if it's true, Agar has chosen him after working with him, or at least spending time with him.
A lot of over seas signings are based on a view on tv then a few phone calls. You don't really know what you are going to get.
If he's worked with him and then still chosen him he must think he can do a job for us and fit in as well.

He has quality and would be better than what I was expecting, however is he more of a 6 than 7, or doesn't it really matter anymore?

What matters is whether he was just veg shopping or discussing the merits of rugby in wakefield. Either that or maybe he has a contract for checkout work.

It would be a TURNIP for the books if Bosc came to WTW, but I cannot get my SWEDE round it. He certainly knows his ONIONS as a halfback and if we offer the right CARROT he may LETTUCE see what he can do. As long as he is not a LEMON and does not LEEK too many points he may add to our squad. There may be a a SQUASH on the terraces and PEAS could be difficult if we continue signings of this ilk.

Unfortunately Wakefield is in close proximity to a number of other rugby league clubs so he could be touting for work with a number of them?

Although Wakey have dropped hints with the press that Agar will exploit his French connection as the national coach which has not yet been done?

Has Bosc really produced much decent form within the last few seasons? If cheap then yes lets av him for back up in the squad but It'd be good to have a real genuine experienced scrum half in the squad with proven NRL or SL quality more so than another utility back player like Bosc.

Lets be honest, out of the teams close to us, he wont be going to leeds or huddersfield (he isnt up to table topping standard anymore) or Bradford (money issues). That leaves us or Cas, and if He opts for Cas ahead of us with Agars french connection, questions need to be asked in my opinion.

As stated on another thread, if he can't hack it at his home town club anymore why do people think he'd up his game for us. Three years ago yeah, now I'd rather give Goulding a chance and I don't rate him that highly.

I've a strong feeling there could be some good news forthcoming on the half back front....and maybe another.....the halfback always was going to be crucial and the final piece of the jigsaw for me.....

If my feeling is right then with the way the squad has come together in the last month or so I would hope to hell anyone who was negative....or holding off to see what would happen will now back the club and go and get their season tickets!

It's been a miraculous turnaround and one I don't think any sensible fan can criticise......we've gone from a few months ago to a team being ripped apart and looking like no hopers to one that has taken shape nicely and with a bit of luck along the way can be competitive without a doubt.....

Get those tickets....get to the shop and get the gear bought....put our faith and thanks back into the people who have, and are working so hard to turn us around....!

If Cas want him when Agar doesn't that's their call.
