To be fair they're the 2012 shirts so they have little value anyway. A good method to shift surplus stock. Plus it gets people used to the manufacturer's 'quality' again.

Is it true next years kit supplier is Macron? The same company that issued a winding up order against the club?

Maybe not given the legal battles. Problem is if they are crap again then many people won't part with the best part of £50 for each shirt for them, thus leaving a another big hole hole in the budget. I guess the fact that we have so many left from 2012 means we didn't flog as many as expected then.

If there's loads of surplus stock, why leave it at just one sales window? Flog them at that price all the time and people can get them when they're about.

Probably a deal has been done over the CCJ issue.

Get a decent design and people will buy it, maybe not everyone but those that buy shirts generally don't buy them for the quality of the shirt. To prove that point, I wasn't impressed with the quality from Macron before but still bought the shirts as I do every year, and no doubt will do the same again next year.

On the plus side I did think that the range of leisure wear that Macron supplied was not bad.

Not really - as if there is too much cheaper gear it will detract from people buying the premium gear.

I think a one-off sale every so often is worthwhile and clearly this stock has just been stuck in the container!

Good home shirt that one, I think they should rest that design now though for a bit, I've had about four from different seasons that are exactly the same

Is this the stock tied in with the Macron CCJ? Explains why it's been in storage for so long rather than being given away at the end of last season.

Now is the time to sell it as next season is not till feb with a new shirt design. Its old stock what else are they going to do with it? A 3 hour sale at £5 a pop needs to be longer than 3 hours to maximise income which is needed now ....

Limit purchase numbers as well so no low life buys about 20 then tries to Ebay them themselves for their own profit!

Why would you want to limit the numbers ?

Surely the idea of this sale is to get rid of the stock ?? - If someone wants to walk in an buy the lot. Offer to drive them home for him. Job done. They are worthless to you stuck in a container.

If someone else wants to go through the process of Ebaying the lot of them, Thats up to them. Just get them off your hands surely ?

Well I will be getting 6 look at it this way at that price if you just use them for knocking about in they are well worth the money.
