Heard the same this afternoon. Without him we have no real creative play maker. I don't care if Salford have offered "crazy money", like for like won't be replaced. If this turns out to be true we may as well sell the rest of our top players, pocket the cash and next years tv money and prepare for the championship. Once there we may as well stay there until a money man is willing to back us. I can't handle anymore of this continuous mediocrity. Don't think you will be on your own there. Having bought 4 adult season tickets including 1 upgraded to platinum feel like we have been slightly conned although shouldn't be surprised as it's always been the Wakefield way to sell the best players. Don't blame Smith as he will probably have gone for a better deal and has the security of playing for a club where money doesn't appear to be an issue.
