Its not been confirmed they are showing the NRL yet. Rumours last week were that BT vision had got the rights.

They showed the All Stars game at the weekend, which might be an indicator that it'll be Premier Sports once more?

As it stands, I've had good value from my PS subscription; I ended up with so much RL on my Sky box last season that I ended up picking two NRL games per weekend that looked like choice match-ups, and giving the others a miss.

Okay thanks for the heads up guys. I'm not even sure if I can get BT Vision on the Sky box? I hope they don't get it as three subscriptions for RL is taking the mickey really.

I liked the look of their NRL coverage before Premier Sports became "Subscription Only". They are also showing the Championship/Championship 1 Thursday night games this year just like last year.

The showed the Dewsbury Fev game last night and I think there are going to be 2 games a week on it, I got it last year when they had an offer of £49 for 12 months (it was on facebook) coverage is good for championship and the picture quality has improved this season.
The NRL coverage is the Aussie coverage that they transmit, great comentary and pundits, the likes of Lockers and the king himself Wally Lewis are 1million times better the Sky's presenters

My dad got 2 months I believe this week so he could watch the Fev game.So if you are not happy you don't carry on.we had it last season mainly for the NRL games,really enjoyed the Championship games as well.The commentary is far better on the NRL games than listening to them old fossils on sky.

They have got the whole of the NRL and taken the SoO, GF and highlights show off Sky. 6 Live games and 2 recorded a week, ANZAC test and All Star game. The free streaming on the betting sites has been removed. Looks a great package along with the Championship. Hope the price doesn't go up.

As I've said many times, it's cracking value - more RL than I have time to watch.

The only downside is the lack of HD, which is a bit jarring when you're used to it; hopefully they'll upscale when they grow their subscriber numbers.

Considering dumping sky sports & movies and getting premier

With a special offer i just paid an annual fee of £80 for around 240 games. It is unbelievable value and whilst the lack of HD is a minor inconveinience i reckon i'll cope for that price!

The coverage of the nrl particularly those games broadcast on the channel nine network are second to none with their all star commentary cast led by the great ray 'rabbits' warren alongside Peter sterling, Phil Gould, brad Fittler, Darren Lockyer, Andrew Johns and king wally. The other games are broadcast through fox sports led by Laurie daley and Gary Belcher. It is impossible to watch all the games without the wife leaving you!!

Fantastic news, there was talk that B.T would be getting their hands in it.

The annoying thing last season was Sky had the S.O.O & G.F, not the case this year.

It’s just a shame Sky don’t have a dedicated channel for R.L other even pay-per-view on S.L matches, because I’m sick of contributing to all the other guff.

Watching RL is the only reason i bother with SKY, other than that i could live without it.

The Batley v Halifax game was worth the annual fee itself.
