I haven't felt so bored with my rugby league in the time I have been a supporter of Trinity.
50 years support does included good and bad times.
Boring, predicable, lacking any flair, looking under motivated, zero passion, overseas players a waste of a shirt and the money, players appearing to be substituted before they get a chance to get ino the game, etc, etc, it's a mess.
I have never heard a crowd cheer a players name when he was taken off the field, i.e. Tim Smith
What a shame for our new owner.
We all new what half time meant, i.e. the opposition coach would sort it out and that we would capitulate. (0-30 second half)

for me the worst was 2003 Dallas Hood etc a shock win at Sts but thank god for Halifax that season but we still have a long way to go before we reach the lows of season 1985/86 when it took 23 games to post a win

At least we had the roller coaster of emotion last year. From Admin to been saved, from the expectation of been kicked out the ecstasy of new franchise. This season nothing but disappointment. Yes this year has to be the most boring on so far.

When one considers that administration and the squad we were left with were factors against us, I would say last season was a success. This squad should be doing much, much better.

Even in the 85/86 season we finished on a high after Len Casiey took over and built a platform for promotion the following year.

Just about keeping the faith but its hard going right now, the next 2-3 weeks are vital if we are to keep the crowds up. Its ok going for a 3/5/10 year plan but if this season carries on as it is then that will be de-railed by the end of year 1. We need some postive performances and results quickly and the next two games are the perfect oppourtunity. Sort it out Agar and sort it out NOW.

Last season was expected with the squad we had. For me the present squad just dont cut it. They have let the club, owners and fans down.Didnt think it was going to be a fantastic season , but the present squad are very very poor.
A GOOD CLEAR OUT SHOULD SORT IT

reasons its worst?
one too many false dawns, sure we were rescued, sure we got super league somehow, and we may even get newmarket, and at this moment i care not one jot for all those 3, because watching rl is about pride and passion, the buzz of a shock win in a close game, wanting your favourite players to do well, looking forward to every game, hurting if we lose.

except i dont any more, I more go to have a laugh with mates, and frankly i dont need SL, newmarket or a tin roof over my head to do that.

Agree with that entirely. I am a big advocate for promotion and relegation as in the past it has been such a buzz - backs against the wall - an us against the world mentality, a bit of passion and desperation from the players and supporters. What the hell is there to look forward to this season aside from a bunch of underperforming players showing little effort and even less spirit under a poor coach who most think is not up to it at the helm. Roll on the olympics, and if hes still here next year i wont be.

God Im glad someone is saying it how it is. The happy clappies were on here yesterday making me almost feel guilty for being disgusted by the half hearted gutless performance I saw once we fell 12 behind. No he shouldn't have but he is and is unlikely to be going anywhere for the foreseeable so you'd be wasting your energy.

If we confine ourselves to SL and take reputations into account...this is bad. Lack of heart is the worst factor for me. Ranks with the Steve McNamara et al side that took poor old Andy Kelly down. Pay chequers...thats all I see Im afraid, some at least anyway.

Too right, problem is we're stuck with it for 3 years thanks to Elston throwing 3 year deals out like confetti. All we have is a team of players who are on a last pay day or who can't get a deal anywhere else. Agar makes the same excuses every week yet changes nothing. When is he going to be made accountable for his actions? One prop on the bench again, an experienced sl hooker on loan at fev, while a waif like Wood who isn't even championship standard plays 10 mins a match. He's a joke. Definitely the worst season for me and I've seen some poor Wakey teams but at least they had spirit and gave 100%.

This season has been a complete bore fest. The only highlight being the opening night at Widnes when we refused to play the stool pigeon role and took it to Widnes in the second half. Apart from that... nothing.

I'll also wait till the end of the season before passing it off as the worst ever.
