Do me a favour why would you include John ? Ellis interchange hooker with aiton. Mariano is far and away better than trout. Trout is young but he hasn't shown me nothing yet !

Amazed that 'Biscuit legs' Collis is still in there, he never finshes a game for gods sake! Wonder if Amor will play seeing that his missus gave birth earlier today?

He's put Ellis and Mariano in the squad. Surely that's what everybody has been calling for.
If they miss out then so be it but at least they are there.

So what has Ellis and Mariano shown you yet? My god you talk some babba sometimes.

As ever you miss the point, I'm not suggesting his selections are correct - what I'm saying - and it really shouldn't need spelling out - is that Agar clearly intends to stick to his guns selection wise - do you get it yet?

John and Mellars to miss out for me. If Collis isn't fit then put Mellars in, but I personally don't think Mellars has done enough to justify a place. I would go for Wood at scrum half (his best position), and that would mean that John or Smith has to be dropped.

I'd drop Mathers I think hes been a liability in the last two games I also don't think he's fit.

You could say the same about Cockayne. If they are fit they are in.

All I was saying is that until he does drop them to the 17 we can't complain he isn't picking them. If he does then he'll live by his selection.

Mariano did get a game against HKR and had a bit of a mare so I can see why he dropped down the pecking order.

But in all fairness to Ellis he hasn't had the chance to show us anything and he never will till he gets a game. There are only four or five players in that 19 who I believe have earned the right to keep their shirts for a long period the rest have done nothing to justify their continued selection. So on this one I am in the give Ellis a game camp.

who are your 4 or 5? i'd say 6 or 7 and id go Wood, Kirmond, Raleigh, Aiton, Amor, Mathers, Washbrook and Ali when fit. Not in any particular order

and who are you dropping to accommodate Ellis?

The first five I'd go with, these are the names I had in mind.
Mathers and Washy not so sure but not that bad either if you want give them benefit of doubt and make it 7

Did not include Ali for the simple reason he is out of the reckoning due to an injury.

You mean why should Wood or Aiton make way when they have been playing well, don't you ?

Those two desreve their shirts, I would go with what others are suggesting,Aiton to loose and Washbrook to second row.
Kirmond as one of our best players gets a game as he is head and shoulders above the three in the squad who purport to be centres and thats where he should play.

Add Cockayne to that list, but thats about your lot, nowhere near enough consistancy from the rest.
I'm starting to get really disappointed with Foxy. He's ok going forward, but way off the mark either in tackling or taking the high ball and we are shipping too many tries beacause of this.

Making the point to NGBC that you can't on the one hand say you've seen nowt from Trout and then on the other hand demand Ellis get's picked - because as you say he's an unknown quantity as is Trout. NGBC only backs named players, seems to absolutely hate any player who is a: Local b: Come up through the Academy c: Isn't a Samaon d: is a forward under 6"10 and thus a midget.



What is really obvious to me is that Agar has decided his best team and appears he will not make any changes other than forced changes. Whether this is a good or bad thing is yet to be proved - so far not so good.

What I will say is it's the polar opposite to JK who never seemed to know what his best team was, and was at his worst when he had a full squad to select from.

Why does everyone seem to think Wood is best in the halves? From what i saw of him in the halfs at hudds he was average and from what ive seen of him at hooker so far this season hes been absoloutley outstanding ! I have also been told that the guy himself prefers hooker to the halves.

I'll give you that JK certainly liked his pivots. If he was here Smith,John,Wood,Aiton,Ellis,Wildie would all be playing this weekened
