Someone has mentioned giving Stuart Dickens a go at Super League but he is 32 and didn't make it at super league at Salford in 2005. Think Fielden will see the season out in the reserves, collect his pay cheque and retire at the end of this season. He won't have the heart or desire to prove himself and lead a pack at a basement super league team like WTW.

He is exactly what Wakefield need along with a goal kicking centre like Paul Sykes to replace Mellars who is ineffective. He can't be any worse than Mellars and at least we'll kick our goals.

Our #10 in the under-20's went well, not sure of his name but he wasn't pushed around by Tonks. Could be worth a shot, or even put Frankie up front.

An actual David Ferriol would be a god-send; he's a real old-fashioned, hard-hitting brute of a prop - a genuine enforcer. Bit of a penalty machine, but probably a price worth paying.

Frankie is an out and out second rower, same scenario as with Southern who is clearly struggling at prop.

I have seen TL play in the under 20's was impressed by the lad however he did look a bit on the small size
seems he's come from Bradford, persuaded by Glenn Morrison I believe.

He looks relatively short but as wide as he is tall; he'll no doubt pack muscle on as he gets older, so could be a real handful.
