This kind of performance, mirrored for 60 minutes at Widnes, is EXACTLY, what I expected from an Agar coached side....or not coached side should I say. Expect more of the same in my view

A sensible thread. Hull fans had 4 seasons of Agar and really tried to warn the Wakey faithful when he was appointed. I bet Wakefield won't suffer four years of Agar before they get rid.. Don't get me wrong, I'm not trolling or Agar bashing, I like the guy but at best he is an assistant coach.

Personally I'd give him 4 games. We are still gelling but the tell tale signs and stubborn ethics are there to see. I've seen it for the last 13 seasons down at Belle Vue. I guess the players just don't see the club as a professional outfit

In the first half he gave you almost everything in the second half it was Bradford's turn.
You could argue that the amount of ball you had first half should have been capatilised on, You didn't and unfortunatly you made exactly the same mistake against us 2 weeks ago.
We(HKR) may have defended well but if I were you I would be worrying that with you having so much ball that you are not scoring.

many people are giving thaler ago tonight, but i thought we didnt have much of a clue near thier line we need to capitalise on the possesion we have, spoke to someone and he said the halfbacks arent taking hold of the game and running it and i agree.

John certainly tried to make breaks in the 1st half, came over a bit Henry Paul at times, but I felt we never set a platform for the backs tonight, no wonder Smith was frustrated. That said if we can teach the left side to field a kick we would have stayed right in the game. Bradford mainly pulled away due to our heads clearly going down.

thought we were great first half defence could tighten up a bit, carnt blame cockane tho for the tries he was on his own the centre didnt help much. plus if our heads are going down then why carnt agar get in dugout and give it to em and get em going

This is the 2nd game that our half backs have come off 2nd best against the oppositions none 1st team pairings. I know it needs time for them to work out each others strengths & weaknesses, but I think one of the them should stand up &try & take a game by the scruff of the neck. Jeffries did just that tonight & made us look very unorganised in defence with some astute tactical kicking.

Its early days but I have said from day one Agar was a good player and a good number 2 coach and that is all he is he is not a first team coach in my view and if this is the best we could do I would have given John Kear another season

Yes they should be ignored but someone will always have a go back and the mods on here know who is trolling and who is geniune, its not hard to spot, so they get a chance to walk away or they'll get a lift.
