We must think we can manage and he'll get more experience at Halifax than playing in the second team and should come back better for it.

Thought this would have happened after the Batley game as it leaves us a bit short if anything happens to Amor or Wilkes. Still would very much like to see another prop come in.

This was almost inevitable; hopefully, if it's managed properly, he'll benefit from it and come back stronger.

Did Agar sign him, if not is it a case of moving on players he did not sign with others to follow.

From what i can gather, RA rates Matty quite highly and has been impressed with his attitude and work ethic in training, just like the other coaching staff have been aswell. I'm not his biggest fan off the field (yes i know him) but from what i've seen of him so far, he get's my backing 100% whilst wearing the Red, White and Blue. If someting has happened off the field it would appear that it has happened between Saturday and this being announced, pretty quick turnaround and highly unlikely IMO. I think some people should give the guy a break and give him chance to develop. After all he's still relatively young for a prop and hasn't been in a full time environment very long.

Are any youngters being DR? Such as Davey, spiers, Annakin?

do the sums mate, Jimmy Davey, Spiers and annekin wont get a look in under agar FACT. do they play reserves all season ? they would be better off going on DR's because otherwise there development will come to a halt. I doubt Agar gives a toss about them to be honest as leaving them behind on the training camp probably confirmed that, but I am sure over the season people will realise this is how he rolls.
Matt James has been one of the better forwards in pre season, head and shoulders above Raleigh, so why on earth would he be loaned out when there is a shortage now?
Agar is that desperate to play his Giants cast off's that he took in order to get rid of another one he had 'personal' issues' with in Tommy Lee.
And no Matt has not been in any trouble whatsoever so read into it what you want.

Think your been a bit harsh on Agar, you have to respect his professional opinion and judge him on his results. Even if Davey, Spiers and co go on duel reg its not to say (certainly not a FACT) that they won't be back playing first team rugby in a few months. It's safe to say that most SL clubs will use at least 25 players over the season if you look at our squad it's clear that the mentioned players won't be in the first 17 but would defiantly be in first 25. I wouldn't be surprised if the mentioned players managed 10 to 15 first team games this season, which would be right for players that are just breaking into the first team.

i'd think most of them you mention would get a chance through the season. i'd agree with a lot of what you say as for tommy lee that was a bit different , goes back a bit but tommy is happy at hudds anyway.as for mattie it was always clear from the off that richard agar did not have him in his plans . mattie was told as much. don't think he is a bad player. think he will go alright with a bit of time. the main thing is he should spend less time talking to people about going to play at leeds and wakefield being a stepping stone. doesn't help his cause.

where did you get the theory of limited places mate ? A first team squad is a squad end of. Did Leeds or other clubs leave ANY of their FIRST TEAM SQUAD behind....? Was there only limited seats available on the flights ? No
Apparently Catalans funded this and if this is true then couldnt the club pay for the extra few rather than demoralising them ? even if the club paid would you leave 3 or 4 out ?

Am i missing something here ? the guys gone on loan for less than a calendar month !! why all the hysteria and conspiracy theories ? it was mentioned weeks ago that we would be doing business with Fax,quite why we should be doing business with there whingebag of a director is a different matter,but I digress.Obviously they have a short term prop issue and we are supplying the solution,nothing sinister or strange about it as far as i can see,but some peoples imaginations and or willingness to knock Agar before the season even starts get the better of them.For christ's sake try looking on the brightside for once,it doesn't hurt and cost's nowt.

There maybe some truth in that as it was Brian McDermott and Carl chapman that got him to sign for bulls from Eastmoor, Maybe Brian as plans for him, only if it is true then we should let him go now, I only want players that are going to give 100% for the Red/White and Blue....
