To be fair to him he started the season quite well and looked interested and capable (not oustanding but certainly capable)

After (allegedly) signing for Crusaders his interest seemed to drop off and he was like a revolving door in the Hull KR away fixture, responsible for conceding tries in the first half afgainst Kris Welham so got shifted wings in 2nd half when he then got ripped apart by Jake Webster.


Can't say I'm overly disappointed to lose him, but if you can keep him interested he'll do OK.

Good luck to him, achieved nothing with us, and if what i was told about the look on his face when we got the good news about our franchise application, is to be believed, we are better off shut.

Strong enough, just looks like he lacks a yard or 2 of pace. Think along the lines of a young Kirk Dixon but without the goal kicking and not quite as good

We (Batley Bulldogs) had him on dual registration from Huddersfield Giants for the best part of the 2010 season. When we signed him we were all very excited, especially as he came with a great rep and was actually named as the 41st best young player in world RL by a well-known magazine. However, he was, for the best part, ridiculously bad - especially in his opening 9 or 10 games when he literally couldn't catch, tackle or beat a man. A very disappointing player.

Got all it takes to be a first class player if he commits. Not a huge loss but wouldn't write him off, did a decent job for us.

I don't understand the need to put the boot in or slag off a player when they leave the club. Josh started well for us but lost his way. There is potential in him, but i'd say he has quite a bit of work to do to become a regular starter for Castleford.

Accuse me of point scoring if you wish. If you don't join in the worship of JD you are branded a heretic by some. However you can slag off a young lad learning the game who is guilty of nothing more than looking after himself just like JD did as much as you like. It's a huge double standard. I'm not pretending Griffin has given us what JD did but he still deserves some respect.

We signed him because he met the criteria at the start of 2010 ie young English and fitted in with our budget. Any other year we would probably would not have looked at him. If Millward can make anything out of him he`ll be lucky.

I wont accept it because the 1873 scheme is ment to help keep the young trained up players at the club thats why i signed up to the thing in the first place !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Not to see the same quality player leave to that half bit club across the way that will send us over the hill average players!
