How much more of this are the RFL going to watch before they decide to give him the punishment he deserves...or do we wait for some player to get a serious career ending injury before he has to sit in the naughty corner.

Didn't we say all this about Newton - until he signed for us of course! Yes, McGoldrick is hard and dirty but every team wants/has such a player.

Newton was a very good player and in his prime a world class hooker whereas McGoldrick is a below average player.

Just going off a tweet from Richard DeLaRiviere, he also tweeted Basil was getting the Cas job so he does have some credibility. Didn't mention names and don't think he should at this stage. McG still under contract so that would be a tricky one. Pure guess work and speculation you'd think he'd be looking at Hudson, Foz, possibly Owen, Mathers and of course Chase the useless lump. Think the Penny account could well be a fake.

McGoldrick is a thug with no regard for his fellow professionals; he demonstrates it week in week out. If he's allowed to continue to ply his style of RL, it's only a matter of time before he inflicts a career-ending injury on someone.

The upside of course is that he throws games away for Cas on a regular basis.
