Or perhaps the cynic in me sees the club linked with the likes of Goulding and Schofield to make the appointment of Agar more paletable!

If Goulding is any part of the coaching structure I'm outta here, I don't care if we sign Inglis, Marshall and Cameron Smith I wouldn't be back till he's gone.

Surely there cannot be any serious consideration of appointing Goulding. COunt me out of buying a season ticket if so.

Are they obliged to interview everyone who's applied, or is this just common courtesy when it comes to coaching roles? I would have thought they had better things to do with their time than interview some of the candidates mentioned.

The thing with Bobbie is he could make a good coach as he has displayed already, however getting his head 100% on it wouod a real task and hence an unlikely SL appointment I'd bet.

I wouldn't be interested in watching a side coached by Goulding, but I suspect that's just a bit of lazy journalism; he probably got some of his info off here.

I'd only expect to see the words Goulding and approach in the following context: 'The public are strongly advised not to approach this man; he is idiotic and dangerous'.

If its Bobblie Goulding the attendances next year will be of Harlequins-esque proportions. The man is an idiot.

I was going to buy two season tickets today for me and my wife. I will now wait until the coaching role is announced as i cant stand Bobby Goulding. I cant say i wouldnt still go as i love this club, but not a season ticket for me if he is appointed! As mentioned somewhere else, i would love to see Nigel Wright as assistant coach to a more senior guy, Mr Gentle would be good!!

Me too - The coach will have a big influence on the the amount of season tickets sold.

He intimated that the targets we are aiming for are of a high calibre. The one name he mentioned would cost a fortune and i would be hugely suprised if even he could pull it off.
