Apparently he has signed for Widnes for next season.

I thought he started off ok for us but he has dropped off in the 2nd half of the season and if we want to progress as a club we need better players than him.

Think you are being harsh on Hyde, I think he has potential and just needs some more confidence.

I think that I agree with you on Higgins and Vievers because like Dean we need better players if we are to progress as a club.

From what I have been told we have offered terms to vince mellars so dean could be paving the way for his arrival,Ewan Dowes from hull is also on the cards...

Looked good early on in season when we gave him decent service at centre. Very poor defensively recently and now as his future is elsewhere probably not fully interested.
After the Crusaders debacle there are obviously a few others, I think now is the time for the club to stop playing people who are not going to be there next season and run with who is.

Good luck Chris. Always gave 100% to us and even though he wasnt outstanding, he was a solid player nevertheless.

I agree we should play a few more who will be here next year, masselot, tongia, Kaye, walshaw even.

At least they will get debuts out of the way and see what the SL tempo etc is all about.

Obviously there are better centres out there but I would have kept him, unless Widnes offering silly money.
He wasn't a world beater but he was good enough and we have other areas that need plugging more urgently.

First team jerseys are to be earned. The remaining games are all pretty tough I would say and apart from Tongia from what I have seen the rest are not close to ready for SL. I know there is 'nothing to play for' apart from not finishing bottom but by throwing these players in now that is exactly where we will be finishing.

If we have players who aren't performing well enough to keep a shirt, they should be dropped!

If that means chucking in someone like Walshaw, for example, so be it.

Don't waste appearance money on players who aren't RW&B.
