Edwards said that london should be semi pro for a while as the fan base was small. Kear rightly said that rugby league should be about what happens on the pitch and really stuck up for Wakey saying our application was a good one and probably better than a few others

I presume we are talking about Jonathan Davies and not Jonathan Edwards the triple jumper.

i was only aware of one jump, for which he got a medal.

It's 3 of the possible 5 types of jump, hence the name triple jump.

The five jumps are:

Foot/Feet
foot to same
Foot to opposite
Both to one
Both to both
Foot to both

should be called the 3 jumps, of which at least two are technically not jumps, but hops and skips, from a list of five pre designated height and length achieving movements.

It's 3 of the 5 jumps but still 3 jumps therefore "Triple Jump" is correct.

When teaching kids, who generally have a hard time coordinating, how to do the triple jump. You should get them to think about their landing at the end of each phase of the jump, they should get used to saying "Same - Opposite - Both".
This helps them to coordinate their first few jumps, motor skill aquisition takes place and is then followed by motor skill development which ultimately leads to them performing the triple jump almost entirely without conscious cognitive thought.

Do they, er, wonder off at all?? or cry? ...its jumping in the air and trying to go a long way!
