Also there is a picture printed showing Glover, Kear ,Daddy Cool handing in our SL application to that big ugly chap that used to be at Hudds and now works for the RL, Tewlis ?. Its just a picture, there is no text under the photo but a speech bubble has been added showing Tewlis with our application saying `` where is the nearest bin ``

Really? That's out of line if that is the case.

Can't argue with you there. Guess it depends whether LE are saying they are doing that unfairly or whether they should do that.

And can't think that guy would get a similar job in business somewhere else. Think it takes our sport down a peg putting ex players in jobs like that. Put someone there who has experience and expertise.

The caption is a disgrace and takes the pi** out of all the hard work the club have done in the last few weeks putting that document together and trying to move the club forward, i for one will be writing to the paper telling them that.

I think the LE will be doing it to point out how unfair the system is. My main reason for saying this is because the editor is a wakey fan.

It's a bit of light hearted fun but the paranoia in me has detected a slight favouring of which club the media would like to stay in SL and it ain't Trinity. The SL show last week is a prime example.

And Yorkshire Radio yesterday - the whole intro to the match was predicated on the fact that Wakey would be for the chop, with that divot from the YEP stating it as a given.

It's very tiresome, and rather sad that the so-called 'RL family' is so quick to cut us loose.

getting a little fed up with Rugby League at the moment and quite a few folk who I talk to are also losing interest in the game.

A few folk I talk to now have had their fill of the franchise system and there are many rumours of a breakaway.

Without a willing TV backer there is no chance of a breakaway.

I saw the photo and I can't make out if its funny or disgraceful.

If they show a pic of the Crusaders handing in theres and saying "don't know why you bothered, your a shoe in" then that would equal it out.

Sky pulling out would equalise everything in a downward fashion.

I do think that we will be the ones who will lose out but that does not mean I am happy about it. I'm not sure what you expect people to do and what difference you think it will make. If you want me to go round telling everyone that I think we'll be playing in SL next year then I can do but 1, I would be lying and 2, it wouldn't make a difference to anything. Congratulations for being positive, well done.

Why is it sad, your not been cut lose you will just be in a different division, with lots of other members of the "rugby league family"

I dont know what the issue is, most of the users on here think we have no chance and the rfl will just throw the application away rather than read it...they are just saying what everyone is thinking. Franchises = a lot of words with no substance whatsoever!! one rule for one and six rules for everyone else!

And that goes for every sport on Sky, not just rugby league. If they pulled out, there'd be a lot more football clubs up the creek than there already are.
