Whilst he would be a good signing, I can't help thinking that if we are going to spend money on some top players we should be looking at a half-back as a must

I'm pretty sure we're restricted on signings by the UKBA. At least for a couple of months anyway

That would be a good way for Glover to make his stamp on the club.

Not sure how the rest of the team would react to a big name, big money player coming in

Hopefully they would be happy to have an experienced and quality player on board.

Timana is a very very talented player... and is no trouble maker... (not in the way some would claim) but does have to deal with his own demons, issues that a move half way across the world would be likely to enflame.

I would be astounded if he moved to England .. and even more astounded if he were able to settle.

that said, who nows? maybe the responsibility of being a senior player amongst a troup of talented kids would be good for him?

This guy is one of my favorite centres. Mostly because he can actually defend. Even though he's acheived so much he still has usually managed to have a lot less focus on him. This to me would make losing Millard look like losing a Richardson and gaining a Glover.

Agreed! But from a commercial point of view, signing a player like Tahu would capture the imagination of the public, this might convince other players to sign. He is certainly a star, might be available at a good price wages wise, other clubs will have spent upto caps/quota. Lets get him!!

Agree re status but I am sure THERE ARE other top quality Props & Scrum Halves in the NRL who could be/are potentially available...

Many good players playing 2nd fiddle and can't make X teams starting 17 or off contract soon and could be lured across etc...

We're really lacking a quality half, someone with some leadership and a kicking game. We need to replace Brough and SH and Prop would be top of my shopping list.
