Let's be honest we need numbers on board so I would imagine anyone of a reasonable standard would be of interest. Fwiw tansey is a very talented player but has issues off the pitch. I work with some lads who know him and they say he's not exactly the model pro if u catch my drift. Would def be a kear 'project' as they are so fondly known.

To be fair i am not sure what other SL club will take him. He may be worth a shot for the rest of the season and if it doesn't work out we can't say that we didn't try.

I would reserve judgement until iv seen a few on field performances. He has been good in the past and there isn't that much quality left out there available that i can think of.

Tansey hasn't the reputation that fed Cooke for a few seasons. If he came, he'd have to work for a living and keep his nose clean. I'd have him, on an option to get shot the moment he stepped out of line.

True but that would be an option difficult to enforce once he has a contract or are you suggesting that would be a clause in his contract?

He could be on a pay-as-you-play or similar, the same as Moore and Bibey. We didn't do badly out of those 2, did we?

If he is going to salvage his RL career, he could do worse than a season with us where he works hard and keeps his nose clean; shop window and all that.

Aparently keeping his nose clean was one of the issues at Hull from what i have heard but i may be wrong.

Both parties are not exactly overflowing with options for the season. This is the type of signing that we're likely to see as the squad is replenished.

Not the only one by the sounds of it. He's just daft enough to get caught. Not sure a stint on the 'westgate run' would be the best thing for him.

He turned up for training at Hull newted more than once apparantly, Fc have been tight lipped on it to us fans but rumours all point towards a serious drink problem. You cant make someone stop boozing and he chooses to booze rather than be a professional sportsman! I think he'd be trouble no matter where he went, he's not the example you want around the clubs young, impressionable players!

Thats pretty close to the truth. I wouldn't say he has a drink problem, but he certainly drinks too much for a professional sportsman.

He still lives in Leeds and goes out on the ale with his mates there so would need watching carefully if he signs for you guys.

Has he learned his lesson? I don't know, but I do know that he was given every chance by Hull to mend his ways before they got rid.

On the positive side, on his day he can be a great attacking threat and scored some really good tries for us.
