I cant understand why we would be in administration for that long when it appears that the deal had been agreed and just needed signing off.

Gives everyone else longer to pick over the bones, makes the RFL's job easier when they boot us out.

If this is all part of the due process then Ted has shafted us one last time. We should have been put in admin weeks ago when it was clear the share scheme was a damp squib

All this shows is that (unsurprisingly) the amount being paid for the club is less than the amount owed to the various creditors.

If the RFL are meeting this week to decide our points deduction when we haven't even exited administration (officially) and theoretically could see our debt reduced (or even cleared) after the deduction has been determined, it just shows how the people "in charge" of the game do not have the best interests of the game at heart. Regardless of the fact that there is clear double standards at the top of the game, how can it be considered "good business sense" to have the TV contract up for renewal at the same time as the game's senior figures need to be giving focus to the proper consideration of the franchise applications?

Maybe, but IMO if we had gone into Administration in January the RFL would simply have booted us out of SL there & then. Yes, leaving the appointment of Administrators so late causes its own problems that we are just seeing now - but at least we get a full season in SL to stick two fingers up to Wood & Lewis when we still finish ahead of Catalans, Salford and a couple of others.

Sorry mate but if all the rumoured departures are true do you really think we will be finishing above two sides who will have a 3 win head start on us?

Because the old company owed money the new company has to come to agreement with the creditors, ie The Crown before the deal can be completed as to how much will be paid, this is not something that is likely to take 5 mins!

But the longer it goes on the harder it gets for us to field a team and the weaker we are the more fans we lose and the less games we win, end result is a weak club and a easy excuse (not the they need one)

Having watched all 7 matches this weekend I thought that Catalans & Salford were both worse than us. The key to where we finish will be down to 2 issues - how quickly the RFL pull their fingers out to give the green light to Glover & what signings we're able to make once he's properly at the helm.

O'Hara's were the sensible choice of Administrator given that they'd just dealt with Crusdaers, but the longer this drags on the more I suspect that there's some very obstructuve behaviour going on at Red Hall.

About £500k to HMRC, £164k to Sir Rodney Walker & a few smaller sums to other "Trade Creditors". Nothing owing to Ted.

If Tillion has gone under (or is on the verge of it) resulting in the appointment on the LPA Receiver then the Administrator would need to battle it out with them to get something from the sale to whoever ends up with BV. The only saving grace is that WTRLFC Ltd retained a legal charge over the ground, but this ranks behind the charge that Bank of Ireland have got.

Jese this is so depressing it kills me, it really does....surely the RFL need to see what is happening....We cannot compete in superleague if they allow this to carry on - we will be slaughtered...

The winding up petition that SRW paid off was served in July 2010. There was little point in paying the amount that subsequently became due when HMRC was trying to shut us down for what was already outstanding (not that the club had the money to pay it anyway) so by the time SRW paid off the £164k we'd run up a further £350k or so that was going to be covered by the payment plan that HMRC then ripped up.

The rest is what subsequently accrued from November to January. £500k is probably a bit on the high side, but it will definitely be above £400k.
