There are rumours that we will be entering administration today and there are rumours that we will be bought buy new investors. I hope we are bought outrite by a rich and successful buisnessman who will pay our debts and pump money into new signings, this will give the RFL a major headache when kicking someone out. A new owner and hopefully a new ground will be the dawn of a new and exciting era for our great club.

i dont think we will have to wait long to find out the answers to your questions, clearly there is a lot going off behind the scenes, it certainly seems as though our future looks to be getting brighter, how bright exactly we will see.
im sure as soon as anyone knows the make up of the deal, it will begin to filter through on here shortly after.

It would be nice to think that a) we don't go into admin and all debts are settled, and b) the RFL take note of a) and make assurances to the new owner that because they have done the decent thing, so will they!

A friend of mine suggests the deal is almost done and confident Ted will be nothing to do with the club, not sure where he gets his info from but I have no reason to doubt him and also he hasn't posted anything on here regards what he knows.

Hasn't the winding up order been delayed to allow the new owners to take over? Story in the People (I know, thats what I thought)!

I've heard a number of rumours from seperate sources that we'll all be a lot happier by the end of the week.

I know there is a lot of work going on to resolve this but the number of happy smilies I'm seeing makes me think that people have forgotten that we could still go in to administration and no one buys us.
That would be the end.

So great to be positive, but lets not forget we are still looking over the cliff edge at this stage and I haven't seen the grapple hook being attached yet.

I think you would have to go into administration prior to Wednesday just to get the wind-up hearing adjourned

Where have you got this from? Is there any more? Hopefully the new owners are made aware of these from the ourset, we can not afford to scare anybody away.

ive been told today that deal is done for new owners,and thet the rfl as told the new owner we are safe in sl for next three years as we have agreed to play at oakwell,how true this is i dont know but i can certainley

I hope this is true but i guess we are just going to have to wait and see. If it is true it could be the start of a bright new future for the club.

Do you think the RFL will tell anybody before the official date of July. They would be open to all sorts of legal prosecutions if this was the case. The applications are not even in yet. More wishful thinking than fact i fear.

We will soon find out one way or another its either admin then new owners (the likely outcome) or new owners before admin. Whichever i am certain the RFL will have given no such undertaking.

the rfl do what they want and they will know now whos gonna be in ie we all know widnes are gonna get in,now if a prospective new owner is a rich man they will want him in so would in my view give assurences

If we do get the good news we're praying for, I wonder if there'll be a 68 page thread on the VT congratulating us, perhaps entitled 'Looking great for Wakey?'

They won't be much on VT when we get the good news other clubs fans are obsessed with us and want us to fail because they know we would be a major player in SL when run correctly
