| A shoe in this year.
An inspiration both on and off the pitch.
Stand up JD.
This game has got to honour you.

| I think much will depend on the last part of the season and the success/failure of the team they play in.
As it is voted for by the players now though it may well see a less fashionable player pick up the award.
For me Sean O'Loughlin has to be in with a good shout as well, but again it will depend on the end of season push.
No player has as yet put there hand up and stood head and shoulders above the others like Lyon and Barrett did in the past, despite the latter not winning it, although Gidley has shown some fantastic quality this year.

Not in the same class.
Sean isn't fit to lace up Jason's boots! Both in terms of character & potential and ability as a rugby league player.

ok whatever you say. The stats would suggest otherwise but i did not expect any support for my choice on a Trinity site.
I agree JD has been a great servant to the game and Trinity, and is having a good season, but is that enough. For me his best chance came a few years ago, when he was superb can't remember which year it was maybe 2005 or 6, but i would not complain if he did get it in truth.

Agreed, he has been terrific in most games for us this year - but had a lull when he appeared to be playing with an injury. I would probably have him behind Snitchy for the Wakefield MOS award.
2007 was (by far) his best run of form in my opinion, head and shoulders above everybody else in our side, and most others in the league. If he wasn't seen to do enough in '07 I dont see how he can be realistically in the reconing this time round.

| it may be unpopular, but I would go for Keith Senior this season, a wonderful player, and like we witnessed at home, still the best centre in the comp.

No one likes a show off!
On topic don't think you can really consider JD for MOS his chance was a couple of years back and he missed out. Will probably go to Cunningham for his boxing qualities!

| like others have said, if he missed out 2 years ago he won't get it this year and is probably behind a couple of our own players.
I think Puletua, Chase, Webb, Gidley and a few others are in with a shout

| I believe it´s JD´s leadership off the field under tremendously trying times this season that sets him apart from all the other contenders mentioned, warrented as they are.

| The three best players I have seen this year, in the positions they play are
Hodgson the Hudds full back
Stephen Wild
Earl Crabtree
No wonder Hudds are having such a good season. If they stay injury free I tip them to win at Wembley and reach the grand Final.

You won't make many friends on here syaing things like that.
Seriously though, I do tend to agree that they have been a much better and more consistent side this year. Whether they have enough in them to win the CC and get to the Grand Final remains to be seen but they won't be far off.

| Jd's time for winning the MOS has passed. He had his best chance a few years ago when he ripped up the SL, brett hodgson could be a gd shout for hudds though.
