| MOTM - Ben Cockayne. Amazing hat trick and performance from him again.
Thought are other best players were Aiton, PJ, Kirmond, and Wood. Also thought Mellars improved, the tries Giants scored in the second half were on Collis's side. Shame Walshaw only had 7 mins on.

| Cockayne took his tries well, thought Aiton was busy and John looked lively getting the ball out.

| Great: Aiton, Mathers and Cockayne - usual suspects!
Ollie and Raleigh made decent yards to say they aren't out and out props.
I don't know what people see in Southern, he had to continually stand 5 yards offside to keep up with play he's that big a pudding.

| Yep I'd go with that Willzay, thought we did as in previous games today, ok in patches, defence let us down with a couple of soft tries and referee appalling, how many head highs from Brown? and how many talking to's? but no bin. How many off sides did he not give us when we were on a roll at the start of the second half? not one! but panged us straight away for 2 and piggybacked em downfield to kill off the game just when we had a sniff at 18 -14.

| Thank god for Childs who had a great game today. Thought he was spot on with the head highs, only two holding down pens and one offside. He was our MOM today and kept it close. But even he could not prevent Hudds scoring at will when they got in our 20

| Cockayne easily MOM, thought Isaac John looked sharper today and 2 great cut out passes for Cockayne's tries. Johnson and Kirmond are improving every game and really putting the graft in.
Was Southern injured when he came off in the first half or had he had enough already??? He went off after 20 minutes and looked knackered walking along the sideline. Need more than that from a captain.

| More often than not, the M.O.M choice makes me smile. But today, I did think that BC deserved it. Even thought he got provided with some great balls that put him in with the chance, his opportunities needed finishing and that he did!

| Cockayne
Mathers
Wood
We need to start games with wood we look so much better with him on the field and may catch a few teams out early in the game if he's on the field

| Cockayne easily. John was better, though that was mitigated by Smith being utter tripe. Wilkes and Johnson ran hard, Wood was lively although was targeted defensively because of his size. If Collis has a groin injury that is stopping him kicking then its obviously affecting his play as well because he was garbage. Lauitiiti may as well have been at home with his feet up. And someone should slap Agar for only giving Walshaw 5 minutes.

| Agree that Cockayne had a good game today but he was at fault for their 2nd try no need for him to join in a tackle that was virtually complete and leave his winger for a walk in.

I expect he's lost confidence in his centre, given recent weeks, so is more likely to come in; it's a vicious circle.

| Clearly Cockayne, perfect example of a player his own fans love and everyone else hates. I've now been on both sides of the pantomime.

Maybe so but there were already 2 in the tackle and there really was no need for him to join in. Not picking on him but it just highlights the silly individual errors that are costing us at the moment.

| Thought it was telling that the only time they had joy down the middle was just before halftime when Ali Southern and Raleigh were off at the same time. The forwards are looking fine and came out of our half a lot better than the last home match, our weakness for me is two fold the centres are not defending well enough or creating chances and we lack a bit of magic at half back although this was better today. Still lots of positives but individual errors are killing us

| I though John played well today, looked lively, he set up 2 trys for Cockayne with good cut out balls and showed something special when he chipped through for himself and almost scored.

| Cockayne for me not just cos he scored a hat trick but also cos he is a grafter and will return the ball all day and do it with passion and energy can see why KR fans were peeved when given the boot, gives 100%.

| Cockayne was the only candidate. Thanks god his tries came from passes cutting out Mellars because that guy would have killed the chances dead!

| Two cracking cut-out passes from Isaac John I believe, but they still needed scoring.
I was critical of Cockayne's signing, but he's going well for us and has shown a great attitude thus far.

| I would agree that cocaine has shown a good attitude so far and looks to be a good signing.
The passes from John were good and John was busy and had a good game. Hopefully glimpses of what's to come from him.
