I would like you all to know about a special day at Stanley Rangers club on the 10th May this year. Stanley along with oulton, shaw cross, Drighlington, New Earswick, at both under 10's and under 12's are having a festival and fundraising day to raise money for breast cancer.

The day will involve many stalls, rides, and attractions, plus SL players from St Helens, Wildcats, Tigers, Huddersfield, Leeds, and Bradford all there signing autographs and having their photo taken with anyone who wants them.

The Wildcats Cheerleeders the elite squad are on hand thanks to our superb dance coordinator Sarah Robinson, plus Daddy Cool, and a full DJ set up by our very own steve the DJ !

I invite anyone along to enjoy the days rugby and raise money for this great cause.

Sorry forgot to mention all the Stanley Boys are in bright pink for the next 12 months

yes it was, the 11's,14's and the 13's have their kits, the 12's wildcats, and the 18's yet to get theirs next week. Calender were great and the feature was fab, plus my 2 of boys got interviewed too

davide wasn't pleased that they sponsored our shirt i.e. wildcat community trust and ended up with Mcgoldrick in the wakey express

at least he got on the telly to put a mention in,
will come done on the day and help out, I'm sure you need a few helpers even if its to through wet sponges at


our date for the gala hasn't been mentioned as yet

The Elite Cheerleading squad will be dancing to start the day off, dancing in between the Stanley games aswell as standing on the sidelines for each Stanley match - Bonus!

plus steve the DJ from Wakefield Wildcats to bump up the noise and get the girls dancing, it should be a superb day out.

I also forgot to ask, if anyone is coming to this fab gala, and you have any old football boots, or rugby shirts, please bring them along for the stall, all the proceeds go to the care trust

Sounds like a great day and a great cause, hopefully as long as it is not raining i will get across with my boys rather than sitting in the house with them watching Ben 10 as is the standard practice in our house on a Saturday morning.
