Well, after Aussie colmpletely demolished the Kiwis, what chance have we of a credible performance in the 4 nations ?
Our forwards look ok, especially if Sam Burgess has kept his form, but our backs look the opposite.
Dont agree with Chase being in there at all and our three quarter line is miles away from being good enough.

We are probably going to be a bit more of an unknown quantity this time. The Aussies will probably play the same sort of game of let the opposition run out of steam then burn em. I hope we don't try and go at them with the arm wrestle approach as we have done this on numerous occasions and done ok for first half of game then just fizzled out. I fancy us to get to the final but don't know if Kiwis were just doing some sort of research experiment on last weeks game. There are a lot of new faces on all sides this time so there will be players out to impress and also players not been in this sort of a game before. I just hope this is not spoilt by referees who are inconsistent as no doubt you will probably see refereeing styles from one extreme to another due to our games being officiated so differntly from theirs.

Same as the national football team,we will bull ourselves up just to be let down........again.maybe come second at best,I think most rugby people like myself will go just to see how good the Aussies really are in the flesh.

Still haven't got over Aussie hammering us in the first half at Elland Road a few seasons back.
Although it was the best attacking play i've seen in a half of RL it was a most unpleasant evening.
Lets hope the 5th November isnt that bad.

Poor attitude IMO - a strong international game would be a massive asset to the sport.

Lol this is what drives me crazy your quite happy putting the boot in on England for bringing in chase when Australia do it all the time but nobody whines about them doing it. Get a grip they all do it in just about every sport now. England Cricket Test Team number one in the world and look at where some of them have been born!!

This is England, not Australia. Just because they do it doesn't mean we have to as well! And stuff the other sports, this is rugby league.

Quite right, the all blacks and kiwis have plundered the south sea islands, mainly down to educational reasons, for generations, and the aussies arent an awful lot better.
We are playing the same game, and as in cricket have done so for quite a while, but its not right, and for that reason, i'll have it on in the background, but........I'm out!!!

Although most of us are exremely apathetic towards the 4 nations and would prefer to watch Trin than England every day of the week.
I'm still looking fofward to the day (if it ever comes) of us beating Aussie and being able to compete with them and the one sure thing is, that if we do ever become competetive again, the apathy will turn to pride.

The apathy won't turn to pride if we do it with a team full of foreigners - this is not cricket, it's rugby league.

As a Wakey fan you have to be optimistic so why not, either eternal life or a competetive team.
