Well major share holder Fiesal Nahaboo did say it had been made clear to the BOD at Fev that they must sign a squad to fihish in the top 4 of SL within the next 4 years so its probably correct

Me personally yes. Not sure about a lot of posters though, he could always find a gap to put players through where as the current players can't.
If we did get back Smith I'd hope it's to complement Sammut, not replace him.

I dont know who you have lined up as new signings but unless you are getting some new forwards I think He would strugglw finding the gaps for people. your forwards last year could lay a bit of a platform for him but unfortunatly your pack now is only a shadow of last years.

Trout is hardly the type of player that is going to move Fev up to the next level. Would expect Fev's other signings to be of a similar calibre rather than someone of Sammut's quality and cost.

I would take Smith back any day, he can put players through gaps and get us around the field which is something our current halves cannot seem to do.

As for Fev, they have already announced 4 or 5 "Super League" signings who have turned out to be Blackmore, Crooks, Green, Bridge and Trout who are not the sorts of players to worry Super League Teams. Also no idea how they could fit Sammut under a Chapionship Salary Cap this season.
