I have supported Wakefield Trinity since 1970 when my father 1st took me as a 7 yr old boy. Can you explain why i can't find any place on our on line store that my daughter could have bought me a home shirt with Toppo printed on the back for my birthday on the 4th March?( I assume you know who he was). I am shocked, frankly, to find out how pathetically inadequete this on line merchandising arm of our business is. I was kind os assuming Andrew Glover was a businessman with nouse. I can buy a Julian Rinaldi mug it seems, but not a shirt with Toppo on it. PATHETIC!!!. AND WE WAKEFIELD FANS ARE SICK OF FALSE DAWNS AND B BLOODY S FRANKLY. If Mr Glover cares to call me about this I would be interested to hear why I cannot buy a Wakefield shirt on line or why there were no home shirts in the apology for a shop at the end of the East stand against Hull KR or why the club shop is not open on match days. I travel from Beverley to watch Trinity. I enjoyed shopping in the store and bought something on most visits. Useless. I have no tolerance anymore of excuses. Get your acts together.

Shirts are out if stock but on order apparently, that's what my mate was told. That might explain the site not being up to date?
Personally i'd advise against buying them online anyway, the sizes are so random! They need to go back to advertising via chest size!

The club shop is open on match days, it has been moved next to Cats bar.

totally agree with you, i dont live in Wakefield and travelled to our home game with Hull KR with my boys early so i could call at shop in Ridings to get them all a home kit and a daddy cool for my baby but they didn't have either, so went to ground to see if i could get any joy there but nothing, i couldn't even find anywhere open to buy shirts, then queued 35 minutes for food for kids, not good, went home hoping to buy shirts online and get em posted out to me and all i can see is a picture of Korky and Howarth wearing last years shirt,

You cant get a name printed on your shirt.. it was at the old shop at belle vue but not the new one, I was told it was available in the ridings store went and there not sure where the machine is... Amateurish

Yeh they've already got my money from the shirt.. but that extra tenner plus peeing off a current customer who might not by the new shirt next year is not great.

Good points. i sent a message to the club asking when the online shop was going to get up and running 2 weeks ago but no reply. I sent one last week re a package for the magic weekend as me and about 10 mates want to go and stay over but no reply as well (hull have sold their packages out for magic). I don't want to bad mouth the owner as imo we would be playing championship not super league without them but these things do make a big impression and lose money just like 2 home games without lights in the toilets.

Surely that has saved us money?

i have to say i not entirely sure why we shut the portacabin shop in favour of the little one, alot more room and products in portacabin shop , i think if there are alot of people wanting shop at ground that corner near cats bar will be awfully congested and wont be able to cope, plus you carnt get many products in that shop ,just my humble opinion tho

SORRY BUT... all I see is here we go again. I am no businessman but if the club would care to employ me on my current salary, I guarantee I can do better than this. Yes, we would be in the Championship if the current administration hadn't come in. Thank you. I am genuinely grateful and that is not sarcasm. But now you are here, some last minute antics are not going to progress Wakefield Trinity or save you your money that you invested in us. Good God...though I have no idea why, the name of Wakefield Trinity is still important to a significant number of fans, though my patience is tested all the time. I will copy this statement to the club and see if they give enough of a toss to reply. Is it just me or would one of the 1st things you would do to make the club profitable would be to make all its merchandise freely available to its fans, who live...wait for it...all over the country and NOT JUST IN WAKEFIELD!!!!!

Have we sold out of shirts? I was told a few weeks ago by the shop we were getting new stock in February and was going to call in the risings shop tomorrow to get one. Is it true no new shirts available? At least it shows we have sold alot already but we could be selling more. With AG being a salesman in sure it get it sorted

Passed the new shop on the way into Cats bar on Saturday it does look rather small but the thing that caught my eye were the Wildcats rugby balls that were on display these were the ones that I had been asking the shop for since before Christmas and I had left my number in the Riding shop for them to contact me when they came in but I'm still waiting for the call. I got fed up in the end and just bought my lad a new ball from a local sports shop so thats another sale missed by the club not much I know but every little helps.

Mr Glover knows how to run a successfully company in regards to customer care. Ring WYW or leave your details on the website they will be on to you like a flash oh and don't worry if you miss the first call or the second or third they will keep trying till they finally get you. Be nice if he could implement the same standards at WTW.

I went to the shop in the ridings at the end of January to buy a coat and was told that they did not have any coats and that they would not be getting any more. It is the middle of winter and they are not selling coats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also why close the shop at the ground? It was easy to park and you could call in before the game. I recon that WTW will lose sales by closing the ground shop and making a feeble attempt at internet shopping.

The situation regarding the on line shop and ground retail facility is not ideal.
The good news is that the club managed to sell pretty much all of the stock of new shirts, but they are now losing sales.
The on line shop should be bang up to date and if we are out of stock of any item, then this should flag up, together with an expected availability date and regarding the cupboard at the ground, this really is not really fit for purpose and the loss in retail sales on matchday must be significant.
It seems that the club want to steer as much business as possible to the Ridings, but at the same time they are missing out.
There is no doubt that the club is moving in the right direction, but this needs sorting please.

I said at the time it was a strange decision to close the shop at the ground and replace it with something that is much inferior. I assume it was done for some kind of financial reason. Mind you if we haven't any stock to put in it what difference dows it make. Also mentioned the online shop last week on here. Its so out of date its embarrassing and makes the club look unprofessional. In fact if i'm honest the whole website could do with tweaking to make it more user friendly.

Went to the Riding shop on Saturday to buy tickets for Hull.

There are too many tops which are expensive, but there was next to nothing in the ladies fit for swmbo.

I made a couple of suggestions to the staff in there, but they honestly did not seem the slightest bit interested.

Notes should at least be taken and handed on. I don't expect every idea to come to something, but how can any idea come to anything if they are not recorded and passed on!

We've clearly come a long way, but we have such a long way yet to go!
