Wigan are a great side and play fantastic rugby, just like they did when they stuffed us at their place.

Not one of our players would get a contract at Wigan, every player at Wigan would improve our squad. With this in mind its not a suprise that they stuff us.

We have plenty of players who try hard and give 100% which is good but only BJ and Millard with any creative guile with out them we never look like scoring against the top 8 sides

Morrison is our best player but should not have to play at 6. It has been obvious that the speed and accuracy of our pass from dummy half is just not good enough, Obst is a top player but his pass is poor, Latu is a poor player and his pass is not good enough, halfs backs of Cooke and Morrison will not trouble any SL team. Why did it take 65 minutes to get our best passer, Davey onto the pitch.

Millard was fit to play, but was not selected, why leave a class player out. I am not saying Millard would have meant we won the game but he is a better centre than JD.

Glad we are playing Blaymire at full back, just great under the high ball.

King is a top prop and we should sign him on for next season.

Who the hell is deciding at 10 nil and 14 nil down not to take the two points when they are on offer. Again not saying we would have won but if we kicked the penalties then the score could have been 6 - 10 after 15 minutes. Why oh why oh why oh why do we always run the penalties is the whole team thick, its not hard to work out ...... always take the two.

If and when BJ gets back he has to play at 6, Davey should play at 9, Obst at 7, Morrison in the pack and Cookie on the bench.

The pitch looked good. Thank god it rained or I think Wigan would have put 80 passed us.

Heads up lads, if we can beat the teams below us and nick a win against Hull KR then I think the squad of players we have will have reached their potential.

Absolutely mystified why it took so long to introduce Davey into the game? He has a slight frame and does need looking after a bit but it didn't stop him doing a tremendous tackle on Coley and dislodging the ball moments after coming on. His distribution is so much quicker and better than anyone elses that it really was a mystery.

Also can't understand why it took so long to bring Leano on? Surely the time to bring him on as an impact prop was when Wigan went down to 12 and we built up a bit of a head of steam? If he wasn't fit enough to be spelled properly then he should have played another game or two in the reserves.

Thoroughly disappointing afternoon, once againwhen it was a half decent crowd. Afraid after that showing you can comfortably knock well over 2,000 off the attendance figure for the next game.

Wigan were quality though.

i think our forwards are a match for any pack in the league, but oppositions know that aqll we are going to do is plough up the middle, and are set up waiting for it.

i think we also have some good wingers but at half backs and centres we are absolutely awful.

even murphy was poor today, and that does not happen often

we need a scrum half or a hooker from somewhere. surely there is one out there in the championship who deserves a shot

I was absolutely bemused to see Morrison at 6 while Davey was sat on the bench for a good hour. Not sure what the tactics were there but they didn't work.

Wakefield today reminded me of Wigan under Noble, no runners no options and no idea.

The only way you were going to score today was the way you did, although credit to whoever threw the last pass (Murphy?) it was a belter under such pressure.

Think a few of your boys need to take a look in the mirror today, a few of your forwards went hiding.

What upset me most was the fact it was a great chance to show some of the floating on off Trinity supporters what they are missing and rather than taking on Wigan with a roar you simply went out with a whisper.

I always liked Sharpy as a coach. Nice bloke remember him when he was assistant to Andy K down here. Must say it's quite an expensive line up down down at the Crusaders with Nobby, Harris and Sharpy. Maybe they could loan us one. !

JD ran a great angle with about 15 to go and that's the kind of footy we were offering at the beggining of the season! We are a bit flat and lethargic with the service.

We have to be realistic. How many internationals were in the Wigan side today (proper ones - England, NZ, Aussie) compared to the number in ours? We're really not in the same league as teams like Wigan, Leeds, Warrington and Saints. Most days we don't stand a chance of beating these teams - our players may give their all (sometimes) but they are simply not good, fast, skillful enough. If we finish in the top eight we will be lucky and will have done well - over achieved I would say.

I didn't go to the match, so can't comment on that. But credit to those on here who are praising Wigan for the way they played. That often has been lacking in appraisals of our performances/lack of... so well done for looking at things rationally in terms of opposition.

Not 100% fit before the game and i've heard but can't confirm he's crocked now.

and the slowest thing i have seen at full back in a long time..he was like a snail for the 2 tries in the second half!

why ? does not making an effort count? as for the "get a grip" comment..we were less than 10 yards from him and even the kids couldn't understand his lack of pace..bet then YOU DO KNOW BETTER DON'T YOU !

He's not as good under the bomb but probabably superior bringing the ball out. And we need him in the centres!

Whats up with Sean Gleeson is he injured or just dropped? Always looked handy when i've seen him play for you.
