Not a fan of Washbrook but he had a great game. Never once said Agar out lets kick on from here now. Players still to come back! AGAR IN!!!!

Not sure it will keep the agar out brigade quiet, but that's a great result Agars half time take must have been top notch. To come back 16 points down and with some of the players who take the stick performing well. Lets hope we can have a positive week ahead and keep the momentum going.

Absolutely delighted for RA tonight....he's made mistakes without doubt....has copped a lot of unfair criticism for me though in the last month or so....you could clearly see the players were trying for him.....things going against us....trying new things in games we were up against it....

I said last week....lets judge more after that two week break....bit more time together etc.....freshen it up......well tonight lets be thankful of what was a crucial win in the end with Bradford winning....

One swallow doesn't make a summer and there is lots of hard work to be done, but this is yet another sign we can perform and win under Agar....

Also on Washbrook.....so easy once a scapegoat is singled out to be blinkered and just assume everything is down to him playing so badly.....he was our best performer at Headingley but still got stick all over the place....sounds like he's had an absolutely superb game today and I'm delighted for him too....

A wins a win and I don't care how it comes. Lucky in what, the great come back, the penalty count, the team performance , the grit, and determination. Leave it our sour puss

Not only that, they seem to have forgotten that the last win was in round 4.



Can't afford to slip up against Widnes or Cas otherwise it'll be one step forward two steps back again.

To loose against either cas or wid at the mo could hardly be classed as a slip up tbh.

If we win another 4 games then, due to their much inferior points difference, Bradford have to win half of their remaining games to go above us even if we actually lose to Brafdford

I can see us winning Widnes at home, Salford at home, London at home and one or both of HKR & Hull at home, It's also within us to beat Bradford at Odsal.

Fair point but my point is that we need to start showing some more consistency and taking backwards steps each time we pull off a win.

Really pleased for Agar and the team. I have understood the fans frustrations and also emphasised with Agar. The players haven't been good enough and Agar has made some calls I wouldn't have gone with.

Whether you are Agar in or Agar out let's just give credit to 23 unanswered points, a win and a scoreless defensive second half. Well done Agar and well done the players for roughing out a great win.

There has been some justified and some unjustified criticism of Agar from people. It can be a lonely place for a coach. Well done Rich and I hope this continues for you

Of course he's had unfair critcism Willzay....

Two today for example.....slagging him off for picking Mathers over Fox and Lyne when the latter two are injured.....

Slated for dropping Mathers from full back and trying other options there when all and sundry were calling for Mathers to be dropped....

Expecting better results from Leeds twice, Huddersfield away, Cas at home, while in a period of still having to try things out due to hardly any pre season and signing key players late....

Criticised for picking Washbrook, saying it's his best mate, even though he's been nowhere near our worst player...

Criticised for bench changes when in four games this season we've lost a player for the complete match in the first 10-15 minutes....

As I said, he has made mistakes, but doesn't everyone.....in my opinion though he HAS had a lot of unfair criticism in many instances where he can't possibly do right for doing wrong!

I did point out that the two weeks would give us a chance to work on the team for the first time since the season started. We will also have played the vast majority of our matches away. We have also not had the opportunity to select from the same squad due to injuries.
I shall enjoy this victory because for the last few weeks I have heard nothing but the opinions of those with their own agendas.

Said in another thread we have been with a lesser team and won. On paper this team Looks half decent once they all get firing and working for each other then wins will come more frequent.

Oh i'm firmly perched on the fence, could tumble either way no doubt about it.

If he plays Mathers on the wing one more time, I'll personally throw a custard pie at him at the next game (if i can reach). That is all.
