Overheard MC saying that he had got rid of Vince on Saturday night in the Greenhouse. Think he was trying to be hush hush about it, but as he had had a few shandys we all know it's quite hard to be quiet. didn't hear much appart from he was taking a hefty wage from us.

Perhaps he was playing Cluedo, did he mention a candlestick or a gun?

Someone told me yesterday that he'd heard he'd gone . Mellars was at a "leaving do" at the weekend & the rumour is he's been paid off & he's off to Oz .

All depends on how much its cost to pay him off. Hopefully its less than 50% of his salary (ideally less than 25%) which will still be a decent wedge.

He hasn't contradicted the Mellars part though, only that he wasn't in the greenhouse on Saturday, then again a minute past midnight would technically be Sunday.

What exactly has he quashed, the thread is about Mellars being released, he's hardly quashed that one.

Maybe he hasn't quashed the Mellors being released element of the thread but, the denial about being in the Greenhouse on Saturday does take away any credence to the source of the rumour
