Personally I think we should have a big push on the woeful season ticket sales. At the shareholders meeting the other week, James Elston told us that we had only sold 600 season tickets, whereas HKR had sold 6000 !!.
Therein lies the root of our problem - we 'aint puttin' bums on seats (or feet on the terracin'), so why not slash the price of season tickets ??.
Yes, there will be us die-hard fans who have already paid full whack (it cost me over £400 to renew ours), but we are not the problem. The problem is with the "armchair fans" and the ones who have turned away from the club over the past few years. We have to give them some incentive to return, and I believe the biggest single stumbling block is the admission price....slash the season ticket prices to say £100 for adults, £50 for OAP's and £20 for kids, and then reduce match day admission to £10 adults, £8 OAP's, and £5 kids.
Then make the whole match day experience a day to remember, with improved entertainment, hospitality, etc etc, along with 110% effort from the players (we ask nothing more than commitment to the cause), and hopefully the crowds will come flooding back...we may be going out of Superleague, but let's go out with a bang and not a whimper, and show them what they are going to miss !!!!!

Its the last season at Belle Vue, we all need to pull together and support the club. Win, loose, or draw, lets get behind the lads and up the attendances. Attendances and gate receipts are key measurements when it comes to licensing applications, so lets do all we can to help!

Big push on the kids. In the past i have been disgusted when I have had to pay for my 4 year old to attend a game, that po;icy should be the first to go.

Bags of free tickets to the schools.

If you drop a division you would hope these kids would get the bug this year and get behind hopefully a strong NL1 team in a new stadium to be the paying adults for a return to SL in 2015.

I'm in I have already asked my sons if they want a season ticket at £20 a throw is not bad, lets push the club forward and upwards...
I'm working on one or two old fans as we speak...

To be honest though you should think yourself lucky that they are being honoured!

I reckon we'll see a lot of changes but we may need to give AG a little time and we all need to remember that we still need the cash to run the club.

For me the club shop should be sold out before KO come the Salford game, statement from the fans to AG before we expect too much back, he's done his bit lets show him we will do ours.

Match day prices and juniors all need looking at.

I know it's still early days but we need to know if those season tickets are going to be valid or whether I need to go out and mug somebody for a new season ticket, I was so proud that I got into the first ten of purchasing a season ticket last year.

As I posted a couple of weeks back...a source at the club told me that both potential buyers -Glover and Parkin - had agreed to honour all season ticket AND sponsorship deals.

didn't renew mine because i will miss 4 home games..kids have theirs and i always buy away tickets from the club before going..weird that i will be at more away games this year than home...catalans flight tomorrow!!

I hope the club honour those season tickets already purchased which I am sure they will.

I then hope the club look to promote season tickets and look to get as many local folk through the turn stiles as possible this season.

Even if it means kicking them out cheap to promote the club and the game.

Time for the club to promote from within and look to promote the game within the local area for the long term interests of the club and the game at heart......

I heard somewhere that the SL sets prices, hard to believe if thats true. Or is it that they set the prices for cup games in the later rounds only?

Lets all make a effort to buy from the club shop, A shirt, scarf,flag,car sticker,toys, mugs, pens what ever you can afford...

In a joint statement last Friday AG and James Elston, stated that all memberships, season tickets and sponsorships would be honoured. I can't see them backtracking on this.

The salford games the best oppprtunity to set off on the right foot. Let people in for next to nothin ( or even nothing ) if mr glover could foot the bill. Coupled with a big pre match rallying call from the man himself, get it advertised everywhere for the next two weeks. Let the stay aways have something to ponder and rally the troops

I'd suggest Mr Glover says prices to all Wakey fans are half price for the next home game (or something of appeal) to get as many local folk back through the turn stiles as possible..... something to re ignite the spark of RL back in the hearts of the Wakefield community....

I have a season ticket for this year but still hope the club look at reducing the price of one and match day prices for this season.Hopefully the club will get this sorted quickly and sort out some proper marketing for the salford game.The Warrington game for me is the one we should really push though.It is live on sky so the perfect oppourtunity to show we mean business and get them talking about us for the right reasons.
I dont think we should be giving out bucket loads of free tickets though

£10 a ticket for salford game.. well advertised in town centre, local supermarkets/ large local businesses for the week running up to first home game would hopefully see a healthy attendence. There would be no good in offerring £10 tickets though if its not advertised correctly/well.

Thats a great idea we should make it some sort of themed party, maybe get everyone to wear shirts from their collections over the years. Invite as many past players as possible and as many junior teams from the district. Fill the ground to the rafters keep the average crowd up and give RFL oneless excuse to get rid of us
