Let's start with the TV deal which was supposed to be agreed by now but hasn't because its probably less than the current one
They have put an end to exciting relegation battles like the one this season ( would the CAS game be a sell out despite being on TV if nothing depended on it ? )
Relegation decision by committee where a big screen and electronic advertising boards count more than thriving academies and community involvement.
But...
If we are allowed to stay in superleague i suppose we can look forwards to 2 points every time we play Warrington when their overpaid marquee players can't be asked to put any effort in because they can't be relegated.
There is nothing wrong with trying to improve standards on and off the pitch which the IMG points system is trying to do but when clubs have no money and businesses are reluctant to invest because of the economic climate its almost impossible.
When the TV deal is eventually revelealed to be less than the current one will people still be saying IMG /grading /doing away with relegation etc are on the right track?
