Just watched it. It happens on 53 minutes on Trinity TV.
It happens just like I said. He fumbled the ball into Myler's hands. The only thing that might save him is that Myler lands flat on his back and that Myler was already over his shoulder from the fumble so just standing up would have caused a problem.
You can't quite see it on TV but I think he has his arms round him. If so he'll get the ban. If not he might get reduced.
Well, ALL trinity fans know any of our players always get bans on any occasion possible !
Some may wish to argue in support of the panel but the stats are against them !
What's ridiculous about the panel is, our French loan player, rightly looks set for a long ban, but the ridiculous issue is he did that unintentional ! As bans go he should have just thumped him deliberately to the side of his head & receive a two match ban + a
fine - - but then that's typical of the RFL.
So when they are in court soon trying to defend a position that they care then they have demonstrated lack of due diligence of the seriousness of protection, it is/would not be the first time deliberate punches to the head has caused internal bleeding = assault.
If the panel had consistency over punishments then with education to players consequences are realised in fairness.
