I think most supporters agree with some aspects of both sides of the argument. I think what is annoying most supporters is the lack of communication coming from the top. Fitness of the players for me seems to be way short, especially our new overseas signings, who perhaps thought it was going to be far easier than it actually is. Im not sure the sacking of Mash is the answer as it just wastes more money , that could be better spent on playing staff. Most agree its a step too far to revive our season, perhaps it is, but that can be a positive as some have said, watching a team winning some games and building success slowly is better than watching us playing with no zip, staying up and being even worse next season.
I don’t get to see the accounts … so my comment is a little blind and general…
However… there are very few businesses that are cash rich… once taxes, wages, overheads, loan interest has been considered, not making a loss is a major goal… indeed the liquidity of many companies is measured by their asset value.
If “skint” means we are not raising enough revenues to invest in the business , and become market leaders… then I refer back to my previous diatribes.
