They’ve also previously proudly displayed and sold scarfs with The Cribs written on and on it said Wakefield in Red, White and Blue. I would be amazed if they are worth anywhere near that amount unfortunately.
They would need to be massive in America to be worth that amount and they are only successful in the UK and mildy in Japan.

I think you may be wrong they do seem to be popular in USA from the awards they’ve received for best live band. They used to practice in premises near Chantry Bridge. The drummer Ross still lives in the Wakefield area apparently but the Jarman twin brothers live in the USA.

The $161 million net worth valuation maybe a bit off the mark but the band have been going over 20 years and appear Wakeys answer to Oasis. They seem to be proud of their roots from interviews done in the past and are the biggest thing to come out of Wakefield for a long time.

Is it worth contact with Ross their drummer? The club have got nothing to lose. The club could promote one of their most popular songs at home matches? It’d grab some much needed positive media attention.
