Hi all, I do understand the new pitch & the mesh + Grass, but, will/does it need certain type of boots to be worn so as to NOT, damage or tear the mesh ?
Rugby players & football players can have or hold peculiar ways about always wearing the same boots which may not suit the wear & tear of
the system of the new pitch. Then/that would mean our players & visitors all having a 2nd pair ?
It sounds pathetic but I cannot imagine that certain old type boots & long studs being compatible etc
I am sure someone will know ?

It's just grass and dirt. All the mesh does is hold it all together to make it more durable.
If we needed special boots it wouldn't be sanctioned as an appropriate playing surface.

If you know this, why did you ask.
And as has been pointed out on the other thread, which you could have joined in on rather than start your own, it isn't turf.

PS, are you including the effect the pitch has on the laces, yeah didn’t think of that did you
