St Helens’ Morgan Knowles and Curtis Sironen will miss Monday’s Betfred Super League fixture against Wakefield Trinity following today’s Match Review Panel review of last night’s match against Wigan Warriors. Both players were found guilty of Grade A careless high tackle offences.
The Match Review Panel met yesterday (Friday 26 August) to review the other five Round 25 fixtures. Hull KR’s Jez Litten, who was handed a two-match penalty for a grade C dangerous throw, will challenge the grading at an appeal on Wednesday 31 August. Lambert Belmas (Toulouse Olympique), Brad Fash (Hull FC), Lee Gaskell (Wakefield Trinity), Jimmy Keinhorst (Hull KR) and Aidan Sezer (Leeds Rhinos), all accepted their penalty charges.
The Match Review Panel will consider incidents from Super League’s Round 26 fixtures on Tuesday 30 August, and from this weekend’s Betfred Championship and Betfred League One fixtures on Thursday 1 September.'"
Not this time as he has a clean sheet, but will count against him in future, as Kelepi found to his/our cost, he could have challenged the charge but why risk it- that has danger attached, frivolous/increased sanction etc
