Quote ="captaincaveman"Miller does lots of really good work and is a real grafter, and leads from the front. He tackles everything and runs his blood to water. But, what he does not do well is make correct pass selections. He holds the ball too long while he has a look around, then hits the short runner with a crash ball too often. Hampshire ran into some great positions around the back yesterday to be able to put the winger away, but never got the ball.
These need to be drill plays, rehed and executed quickly. That one second delay that Miller takes to decide is the difference between a great pass and a poor one, and at the moment he is just on the wrong side with his timing.'"
Miller does produce some good stuff but also tends to produce some rubbish (check his stats for missed tackles and errors) which put him on the wrong side of the balance sheet for me. His decision making is pretty dire and he has not improved over the last 3 or so seasons which has stunted our attack. As Captain, focal point, senior pro and quota player, I expect a little better.
