Quote ="PopTart"I'd agree with that.
It's not a fitness thing, or an effort thing
It's quality of both coach and players.
Personally I think it's less coach and more players.
If we can improve our attack we will improve our stamina in games because we do less work and make them do more.
But, if we are not able to play half our strongest players, the quality will dip, no matter what people want to believe.'"
I agree pop tart ,it’s not fitness or effort which is in a big part is down to the players themselves,but our attacking structures are woefully inadequate and has to be put down to coaching. Until we get that sorted I’m of the opinion that whoever we sign won’t make a jot of difference until we either have a game plan or at least implement one ,and don’t get me started on the half time team talks .We have a quality squad that may not make the top 5 on a regular basis but should be able to go toe to toe with them all and not crumble like we have done so far no matter who runs out for us .when we get on the opposition line we are simply devoid of ideas how to unlock that defence.We revert back to one out rugby far too often. These are the basics of rugby league and are played out all over the north on a weekend by amateur clubs ,but we find it so difficult to do this.We may not be Melbourne storm but we certainly are a much better outfit that what Has been on show for far too long now .
