Quote ="Budgiezilla"To be fair, what is it like being a player, when all you have to play for is pride. With all due respect you guys are no longer in the challenge cup, and barring a miracle won't reach the SL play-offs.
Also, Covid-19 is exhuming all our lives, and all the procedures players have to go through every week just to be able to play. If I was a Trinity player, I would be thinking 'roll on next season' and hopefully we will all be in a better place, and we go again. (Leigh fan).'"
Trouble with that statement for me is ,how many fans are going to renew their season tickets on the hope that the players will suddenly turn into a team that’s looks like they want to play not only for the coach but most importantly the fans ,as without them the club as a whole is destined for failure .Its not the defeats that kill me it’s the manner of them ,when Chester openly says players dodged away from tackles, now that really saddens me .We Aren’t the biggest club and we certainly aren’t the best but we used to have Passion and pride playing for the club and that’s gone in my eyes ,for whatever reason .lots have people have wavered their right to a refund on their season tickets including me to keep this club going ,all I ask now is for the players and staff to show the same commitment on the field as the fans do off it
