I disagree that we have too many props. I actually think that we have a good squad, with a good blend of experience and youth, and all positions are pretty much well covered now, allowing for competition and cover, should players lose form, or get injured.

At this stage, should Pauli ever decide to go home, or we release him, I would be looking to replace him with another forward. The player mentioned, according to Wiki, mainly plays in the pivots. We already have Miller, Finn, Hampshire, Wood and Randell covering the halves, and 9. Lets not forget, we also have a couple of juniors coming through in these positions too.

As good a player as he is / could be, I have to agree with the other's - it simply isn't worth upsetting the team harmony. Even if we could afford or attract him, which I doubt at this stage.

Pauli is part way through his contract and improving.
The guy will be huge for Trinity, in all senses of the word, later in the season.
There is little doubt that he has what it takes and he could be a real wrecking ball.
