I've just reviewed this webpage about planning objections on Wakefield Council's own website, where they clearly state that they will consider objections which are borne from disagreeing with the PRINCIPLE of the development.
The council can only keep defending themselves for so long. Whilst previous criticisms have been levelled at the council, the objection we have now is so specific that there would be no room for them to wiggle. They either ignore it and embarrass themselves or they listen.
Let's keep the pressure up!!

I actually don't know why by the way (I'm not in the know at all), but I just spotted it on the application page. Just figured that there's no point overanalysing something we know nothing about
