Like most players of that time ,Keith had to do a full time job ,then training on Tuesday and Thursday nights and playing on Saturdays.I remember when he worked for the council, he pebbledashed our house on Eastmoor on a friday and played for Trinity on Saturday.No big salaries in those days ,just winning pay and losing pay.
