Quote ="TRB"I am not Michaels keeper, nor ever will be, but Michael is fully involved in the process involving the Trust and is involved in the current process taking place. I am sure that he will do whatever he feels is necessary to protect his / the clubs interests.
The news that the ground is for sale was expected, and will hopefully lead to some acceleration of the process.
I speak for myself, but also as a member of the Trust, which includes Jonathan Stone, Sir Rodney, David Hinchliffe, Eric Timmins, Michael and Chris. Ian Bramley also attends as a visitor only so as to be independent of the Trust in certain actions. If you have any doubts as the actions or direction of the Trust I would hope that you can see from these names that each one of them is very much a supporter of our club (well almost all!). We have had our ups and downs, agreements and disagreements, but we have always done what we feel best to keep the stadium issue very much alive and have done a tremendous amount of homework in order to keep abreast of the whole picture.
Whilst the outcome remains uncertain and negotiations are ongoing I neither can, nor will, divulge information which would otherwise damage our position - which is frustrating for all of us - and I'm sure any of those named can confirm that I have requested on numerous occasions that information be put out, only to find that the situation then changes once again!
If it seems like nothing much has happened, then on one level it hasn't, but behind the scenes it alters all the time.
We meet again tomorrow and whilst I cannot suggest that this means there will be any imminent news, you just never know in this process!'"
Heaven forbid you damage your position! Given that you've been in more positions than Jenna Jameson, it's hard to believe there are any positions left for you to assume...
I'm sure I speak on behalf of most when I say that as a Wakefield fan I am totally bored of every "update" you provide on the subject. And it's perhaps through no fault of your own. But for your benefit I wouldn't even respond to topics raised about this. Because each time you do, you offer another rehashed spiel about which direction The Trust' is now pointing in (subject to positional change) and how you're not able to provide any actual information. Saying nothing at all in the first place would provide a similarly reliable update.
