I am at a loss to understand of what benefit it is for the likes of Michael Carter , Danny Kirmond to be spouting forth over social media.
The facts/results speak for themselves, the fans have endured all season watching a group of men allowing themselves to be humiliated week in week out.
If the players can honestly say they have put 110pc in then its odvious that they are not superleague standard and thats fine nobody can blame them for not being good enough. If on the other hand they acknowledge that as professional sportsmen they have not applied themselves as they could have then why be so defensive when supporters that have followed the club for up to 50 years point this out.
What mentality and culture are we building towards when the chairman of the club is embroiled in tit for tat over social media, can you imagine Gary Hetherington carrying on like this.
I think Michael may want to look at what his motivation was for taking over the club because surely when he did his due diligence he must have know what he was letting himself in for.
As a supporter i expect the owner of the club to be fully commited and working hard to bring success back to wakefield,i dont need him telling me every 5 minutes what a tough job it is and how well hes done,i just feel he wants patting on the back all the time. Yes i appreciate him taking on the club and maybe we would have folded but he did and we didnt now what.
What is Michael Carters legacy going to be is it the man that presided over us being relegated or the man that brought some success and god knows we as fans deserve something.
For what its worth personally i just feel we dont have enough out and out winners that lead from the front that the weaker guys have to measure themselves by resulting in well the displays we have seen.
When i listen to the true winners speak the likes of kev sinfield you can see a steely determination that only success is good enough, when our captain speaks all i hear is who is hiding whos socks and what great banter they have, well good for you your not stood on the terraces twenty two pound down wondering what the hell your doing their but knowing you will be there next week because you love the club

Excellent post fullofhope.....sums up exactly how I feel . Question to Scarlet P. if M. Carter hadn't taken over what do you think would have been the outcome and who would you have preferred to take over seeing your dislike and opinion of the man ?

With regard to social media I remember JD apologising to the fans within hours of a heavy defeat at Huddersfield. That shows the character of the man who understands how much it means to the fans. I don't remember anyone from the club doing that this year in what has been our worst season in close to 30 years.

Its like they have closed ranks and have some misguided belief that it is the supporters that are going out every week and getting battered.
The performances and results do not lie i understand that they want to show a united front but please we are not idiots the indefensible is being defended it makes no sense.
What a privilege it must be to have Brian Smith coaching you and they still are unable to be consistent the more it goes on the more inclined i am to believe that they are just not good enough, lets just hope they can stay up and lessons about the right sort of man/player to bring in have been learnt.
