Looking at today results i see the other 2 championship teams ran superleague opposition close. maybe the gap between the top championship teams and Superleague teams is getting smaller i suppose the rose tinted view is that maybe the championship wouldnt be too bad and maybe even exciting for us as a club, but i think in reality it shows just how much trouble we are in. Maybe a succesful championship season may bring back a few fans but lets be honest a bad season will see the crowds drop even further. IMO think we caught fax on a bad day in the prior round and we were maybe flattered by the scoreline and in reality i couldn't see us finishing mid table in the championship. Hopeful just the Superleague teams on an off day and we will be ok but i sadly dont think this is the case. We can get rid of Webster and Carter or any of the backroom staff but the turnaround and overhaul the club needs is too big now. Finally years of getting by, quick fixes and bodge jobs have taken its toll and the damage is getting to be impossible to repairable maybe we should focus on rebuilding and restarting just like we should have done in the first place.
