Quote ="Kevs Head"That's the point. We play like that against Salford then the way we did on Sunday. Inconsistency.'"
Ok lets have a look at this inconsistency claim - lets take the last 11 games since Webster took over...
Wildcats v London Broncos 18 - 10 Poor game, got the win (they pushed Hudds n Widnes hard after this)
Wildcats v Wigan Warriors 36 - 28 Great win and performance
Wildcats v Hull FC 20 - 20 Scrappy game but great character
Wildcats v Leeds Rhinos 16 - 14 Great win against the champions
Wildcats v Widnes Vikings 12 - 10 Good performance against a top 8 side and a win
Catalan Dragons v Wildcats 40 - 6 Curse of S France, not the only team to get a hiding here
Warrington Wolves v Wildcats 26 - 40 Great win and performance
Wildcats v Huddersfield Giants 18 - 36 Beaten by the better side, no disgrace here
St Helens v Wildcats 20:00 40 - 16 Towelled away at top of the league
Wildcats v Salford Red Devils 42 - 6 Crushed a resurgent & expensive Salford, who were in goodish form
Castleford Tigers v Wildcats 26 - 22 Great comeback at 2nd after a disappointing start - no one left unhappy
Wildcats v Hull Kingston Rovers 18 - 42 Awful performance, soundly thrashed.
So one nightmare game out of the last 11, (HKR) maybe 2 more in the "poor" category (Les Cats & Hudds) and the rest have either been good performances with some spectacular highlights (Wire, Salford, Leeds)
I really don't see what all the doom and gloom is about? Yes its a shame we saved our worst performance for the last game and I was as disappointed as anyone but all in all, I don't think we've got anything to be frothing at the mouth over.
