Having known you in and out of the outfit, you'll be sadly missed. You keep all three generations of my family entertained on match day, and my son will be gutted not to sit on your knee for his annual photo - he loves seeing how he's got older, but you still seem to keep rolling back the years!!

Redefined what a mascot can do. Created a real character. Absolutely the best I've ever seen.
My particular favourite is when he relieves himself against the post then scratches the grass. Such attention to detail. Also, great with the kids, home and away support.
End of an era, 12 years??? the most stable thing about this club in all that time.

It seems weird to be sad about this, but DC is proof positive that giving a mascot character and personality is a rare skill; my kids could tell within *seconds* if it was the real DC or an imposter - without fail!

I don't think it was just the kids either. Our group are aged from early 30s right up to early 70s and we always pointed out when it wasn't the 'real' Daddy Cool.

Tough act to follow. During some bleak times, you were often more entertaining than what was supposed to be the main event!
