Don't think Scruton has been anything special since leaving Leeds. Not really considered him as much of threat when playing against us in the past for Bradford. If we got him cheap enough then lets be realistic and compare him with any other bread and butter squad forward. More use currently depriving the Bulls of his services although getting Francis Cummins would have been more useful in more respects than one.
It would be a good idea to put all the team on performance pay as in the "good old days" before Superleague existed. Pay them £1000 for a win and £200 losing pay. Then see how their attitude changes, fixed contract pay offers no incentive at all.
