Quote ="Tommy Duckfingers"See thats the thing I just didn't get with him - always thought he went the other way and often spoiled the hard work he had done by wrestling for the few extra feet, losing the quick PTB - although as you say he rarely got turtled.
I am fully aware of the subtle art of propping, and the delicacies of it including winning the ruck and finding the floor. Now I may get laughed at by some, but one of the best exponents we had of this in recent seasons was Ricky Bibey - but he had a hard time on here and from the fans in general. Give me the quick play the ball and winning ruck of a Ricky Bibey over the once a season kick off return of a Korkidas any day of the week, but I expect to be in a minority on this one.'"
I've told you before Fingers, I like the cut of your jib. Bibey was an expert at that. Great starting prop, all the hard graft for the first 20 mins and always made yards.
Adam Watene was another great example.
Korky lovely bloke but a few barnstorming runs & a punch.......anyway.......this has been done a million times.
Quite liking what I've seen of Scott Anderson so far. In the Bulls game he got battered a few times but got up & on with it, runs it in hard and never took a step back - promising.
