Quote ="PHe"If MC buys the shares that AG currently holds then money isn't being put into WT. It just means that MC will have less money to 'invest' in the club. The better route would be for MC, if he wished to benefit the club, is to buy additional shares, increasing his shareholding and therefore his 'say' in the club - but this would be dependant upon other shareholders 'allowing' this. Another problem of buying up the shares of AG, is the amount of money loaned by WY Windows. If AG was no longer a shareholder then this debt would then have to be protected, as AG has stated that this debt would not be called in, but what if he was no longer a shareholder?'"
To do this would need there to be unallocated shares available, which would be unusual for a private company. The company could choose to issue more shares, but the existing shareholders would see their existing number of shares increased to make sure their existing stake isn't diluted. The net effect of this is that AG would still own the same percentage of the shares before any transaction with MC.
The likelihood is that the "deal" will see the shares transferred for a relatively nominal sum and some structuring around repayments of the loan(s) from AG and/or WYW.

| Daddy cool. Thanks for the quick reply, I will do just that.
Come on season ticket holders, we all know we have had our rugby cheap this year at £8 per game and to my mind this has been the problem. If everyone donates what they can afford we can help the cause considerably. A £25 donation still means you have only paid approx £10 per game.

| Have the club phoned all the season ticket holders from last season who have not renewed yet to try to convince them to sign up?
Or for that matter called the ones who have to find out if they expected to buy a shirt next season or what merchandise they might buy? , and try to get them to pre purchase or buy a voucher ?
So far I have had no calls , surely the marketing team should be in full swing

| I just paid on the gate instead of using my season ticket. Not making much of a dent into the 400k but made me feel a bit better!
